Hi welcome to the website. This is my little place online where I plan to write and draw comics for the world to see. They will be about anything and everything and I welcome you to have a look at what I have to say. If you don't like it then that is completely fine. If you do like my work, then please beat up the people who do not like it. I'm not a violent man, but I will cheer along if I think it will benefit my work.

The person known as Jordan Murphy (or Jman in some circles) is based in Northern Ireland split between Lisburn and Belfast. Currently a full-time graphic designer (print, web and everything in between) for CO-Net but when he gets his mind and motivation in order he spends his spare time writing, sketching and creating stories and comics.
Influences
I have many, many, many influences. Video games are a huge inspiration and influence in my life and my work I guess. I'm an absolute addict and have far too many to talk about here.
Japanese comics such as Dragon Ball (and Z), Naruto, Akira, One Piece, Death Note.
American comics such as all the Marvel Ultimate universe, Alias, Powers, anything by Brian Michael Bendis, Sin City, Transformers (and all other 80s toys/TV show based comics), Alan Moore - League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Watchmen, V for Vendetta.
Films - where do I start? David Lynch, Tim Burton, anything starring Bill Murray, Kevin Smith from Clerks - Zack and Miri (Jersey Girl not included), anime and animated films, special mention to Blazing Saddles, Donnie Darko, Garden State, Transformers and Blade Runner.
TV shows - Six Feet Under, Lost, Heroes, 24, Boston Legal, Frasier, Seinfeld, Robot Chicken, Family Guy, Simpsons, Futurama and loads of kids cartoons... especially Transformers.
Music - Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, The White Stripes, Sigur Ros, The Flaming Lips, Portishead, Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, Muse, Daft Punk, Gorillaz, Mad Capsule Markets... to name a very small group.
Writers - Philip K. Dick, Bret Easton Ellis, Luke Rhinehart, Neil Strauss, Chuck Palahniuk.
Artists/Designers - David Shrigley, Banksy (who I knew of before all the fame.. ha! well not personally), Franz Marc, David Firth, Oliver Jeffers, Chris Barr, Chris Cunningham... those are some I can currently name who's work I have admired for years.
Other web comics - Penny Arcade, The White Ninja, Matt Moylan's Lil Formers, Questionable Content, Dueling Analogs, VG Cats.
That is a small list of things that have influenced me over the years and will continue to do so. People that I aspire to and admire the work of. I have missed a ton. I do hope that someday I appear on someones list as a source of inspiration.
