Transformers are not real - 31/05/09

ABOUT DAMN TIME TO!! First actual comic since February. I suck. I actually wrote this one months ago as I witnessed a man on the train one day on the way home who had one of those dangerous looking fold up bikes. It looked so annoying and tricky to fold up. If you fall off it and it folds round your leg or other dangly bits they will be phoning the Fire Brigade to cut you out. Credit to the man for having a bike that takes up less space on public transport and doesn't threaten the life of everyone around him by just throwing it in the way of pretty much everyone and everything. Cyclists on trains, please be considerate.

I am also stupidly excited (like a six year old eating ice-cream) about the Transformers 2 movie. I'm a huge fan and in many ways a huge child. If you'd have seen me out at Toys R Us yesterday... and today, you would have witnessed this and probably denied knowledge of knowing me. I'm so envious of the people who get to design and make those things. Well apart from the really, really terrible ones that look as though they have been thrown together at the last minute from left-over pieces because they spent so much time on the quality of the other toys. Hang your heads in shame people of Hasbro (more specifically whoever was involved in making the Sideways toy.

Check out my new, rather neutral, cork-board looking site design. Isn't it awful? Well OK, it's more pleasant in ways and it's all CSS built as I have finally got my ass into gear to learn the programming languages of the web properly. Tables are a thing of the past for me. Learning CSS along with work being busy are pretty much the reasons for no updates in such a long time. Creative burn-outs also suck a huge amount of melted, mint flavoured popsicle. This week I have actually been writing and sketching again which I also stopped for quite a while. Now I have to keep this going. I was actually trying to do something quite cool with torn paper etc., for the site but that proved to be an absolute bitch to get to work as old browsers need stupid hacks and tricks to get transparent PNGs to work. In short understandable terms - tried it, didn't work so you get this instead. There is also a bookmark button in the links. I have no idea if this actually works so if it doesn't just bookmark in whatever browser you are using these days. There's only 73 to chose from.

I'm off to watch more 'Venture Bros'. More nonsense soon. Keep the faith people.

As a disclaimer I will say I mean not to offend any person of any walk in life as I use this to speak my mind and potentially jest at life and everything contained within it.
