Here is part two of Toast-Formers comic. There were a lot of cock and ball jokes in Transformers 2. Devastator had balls. No seriously, huge swinging destruction balls. There wasn't really any need for that other than to make a scrotum joke. Agent Simmons also strips his trousers off at one point to reveal a jock-strap (almost his crack and balls to) and has a really weird almost muttered line that sounds like "I wear whatever the fuck". I have heard he says: "this is what I wear when I funk," but I am not convinced and honestly, what the hell was that actually about?
Sometimes the humour did work and as daft as it was, it was very funny. When all of the kitchen appliances transform there is a blender shooting stuff out of the blending cylinder which looks like it has taken the form of an over-sized penis due to being placed right between its legs. Got to love how it thrusts when it shoots (insert weird and worried face). The only joke that was missing was a 'junk in the trunk' joke. Maybe the third film.
I received my blue coloured (not the Road Buster version) Animated Ultra Magnus figure today which I am very pleased with as I have been after it for ages. Got it on sale for 10quid... then had to pay another 25 quid or so for shipping. D'oh! Still worked out cheaper than buying it elsewhere and it is such a fantastic figure of a character who has really hasn't been treated well ever since he got shot to shit in the old animated film. I am rather sad that this serious has been cut so short as it was such a fresh take on the Transformers franchise. I loved all of the G1 references and the unique character art style. It grew on me like some kind of rash that made me feel better about life. My heads too burnt-out to think of some better way to explain that, but essentially I initially hated the look then ended up loving it as much as pasta. No two characters look the same (except the various Starscreams).
In other news. Once again I have become a Twitter Shitter. I have to create a theme which ties in more with the site and also add the feed thing to this site, but haven't got round to putting those together. The link is there so please go on and follow like the brave cult member you are, worship at the altar of Toast and read the occasional comment I may make, then shrug and go do something important. Remember to say: "hello" to as it's not only polite, but makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside (not in a dirty way).
I am currently working on a whole new thing that I will be adding to the site very soon and hoping will take off. The idea was spawned months ago and I have been sketching and making notes. Keep your eyeballs peeled, a thought that creeps me the hell out. A friend of mine asked for an illustration which will end up being the first one in this series. Here's hoping I can update it on a regular basis.
If I can recommend a few things to everyone out there, watch Adult Swim cartoons as they are wonderful. Listen to April March and Eluvium. A Fine Frenzy also weren't too bad until I was listening to one song that just made me morbidly depressed. Regina Spektors music is also worth listening due to the quirky lyrics and way she sings. Beautiful voice to.
My brain is currently frying and I also feel extremely sick, which is not a good sign at all. I just captured a moth and threw him out. How tough am I? For now though, I am off to watch more Venture Bros. and eat crackers. Peace out people - J
