I had around eight different endings for this, but I went with this one. I admit I'm not overly happy with it. I'm still in something of a rut and the worst thing about creating anything is when your confidence dips below sea level it gets very difficult to work up the enthusiasm to finish work or even continue with it. My confidence has been sinking submarines of late. It's frustrating. I needed to at least get this one out of the way, but don't worry kids and 'dults, I know where it goes next.
I had seriously considered ending this completely, but that's quitters talk and we all get ourselves into seemingly unbreakable ruts over things. Mostly work. We do, however, come back out of them. It takes a while. We have to listen to some morbidly depressing music, eat a lot of chocolate, lie around watching TV, drink (far too much), have another dodgy week, question everything... then we get back up on the horse for another ride around the country. Somewhere out there lies a source of inspiration.
Well I need to do that as well. One of the hardest things, as well as being one of the most inspiring, is seeing other people succeed where you aren't. Watching natural talent and breathtaking work, flow from someones mind, hands and drawing devices like a rainbow over the top of an immensely powerful waterfall, in some sunny woodland area. It makes you look at what your doing and too often makes you wonder if what you are doing is going anywhere and has any worth. Comparisons are far too easy to make. This is true for all walks of life. We must not get discouraged, but instead strive to improve. We must keep going. This should really be read out by Morgan Freeman. That would inspire everyone. Enough from me. New comic soon *promise* and new Statustrations to. Much love and respect peoples - J
